OTHER WAYS TO GIVE

To donate by check:

 

1.) For RIRTL Committee, address it to “RI State Right to Life Committee”.

2.) For RTL Services, address it to “Right to Life Services”.

3.) For the Educational Fund, address it to “RI State Right to Life Educational Fund”.

 

Then send the check to Rhode Island Right to Life, P.O Box 28285, Providence, RI 02908.

 

To donate through the Baby Registry:

To donate pre-purchased material goods:

 

1.) For diapers, wipes, baby oil, etc., the packages must be unopened and sealed.

2.) For clothing or baby equipment, they must either be brand new or gently used. If there are any stains, mold, or missing parts, we cannot take them. 

 

Then call (401) 521-1860 to confirm your donation.

 

To donate to the State or Federal PACs:

 

1). For the State PAC, address a check to “RI Right to Life State PAC”.

2.) For the Federal PAC, address a check to “RI Right to Life Federal PAC”.

 

Then send the check to Rhode Island Right to Life, P.O Box 28285, Providence, RI 02908.

 

Due to State and Federal laws, there are restrictions regarding who can donate and how much.

 

For the State PAC, the restrictions are as follows:

1). Contributions to the RIRTL State PAC are NOT tax-deductible.

2.) Contributions to the RIRTL State PAC can come only from individuals, no corporations or trusts.

3.) An individual (including dependent children) may contribute no more than $2000 per calendar year to the RIRTL State PAC.

4.) An individual (including dependent children) may contribute no more than $10,000 aggregate per calendar year to all state candidates and PACs.

5.) Only donations via check can be accepted.

6.) We must report the names and employer of individuals donating more than $200 per calendar year.

 

For the Federal PAC, the restrictions are as follows: 

 

1.) Contributions are NOT deductible for federal income tax purposes.

2.) Contributions to the RIRTL Federal PAC can come only from individuals, no corporations or trusts.

3.) An individual (including dependent children) may contribute no more than $5000 per calendar year to the RIRTL Federal PAC.

4.) Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of each individual whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. 

5.) Only donations via check can be accepted.

6.) Contributions from foreign nationals without a green card are prohibited.
