The Rhode Island Right to Life State Political Action Committee, or PAC, enables us to lawfully engage in state elections, endorsing state candidates, spending money promoting or opposing state candidates, and making contributions to state candidates or state elected officials. It is an “internal PAC” meaning that it exists within the corporate identity of the Rhode Island State Right to Life Committee.
Right Island Right to Life looks at the voting records of incumbents, candidate responses to our issue surveys, relevant public statements by candidates, press reports, and the reports of our members and then assesses whether or not to endorse a candidate for public office. Should we determine that more than one pro-life candidate is running for the same public office, our policy is to endorse the incumbent public office holder.
